  3. We recommend that you contact us before you sign any agreement to that we can ensure that the agreement gives you the required protection. If necessary, we can draft the agreement accordingly to your instruction and specifications.
  4. We communicate updates to you often so that you know exactly how your transaction is progressing and we are available to discuss the matter with you at any stage. We actively manage the transaction so that if any problems arise, we can sort them out quickly and with minimal delay to the transaction.
  5. We are proactive in our dealings with government departments, real estate agents and banks.
  6. We can transact in any province in South Africa.
  7. There are no hidden costs and we provide an upfront, itemised estimate of our fees. In the unusual situation where the charges change, we will immediately inform you so that there are no surprises.
  8. Our fee will only change in certain limited circumstances and only after consultation with you - there will be no surprises.
  9. Should problems arise during the conveyancing transaction we will advise you immediately and recommend the best route forward.
  10. All matters are handled by an attorney and paralegal so that at all times you have two points of contact with whom you are able to develop a good working relationship.

There are generally three attorneys involved in the conveyancing process:

If you are an INDIVIDUAL – SELLER, you will need the following:

  1. Identity Document
  2. Marriage Certificate, if applicable
  3. Antenuptial contract, if applicable
  4. Divorce order and settlement agreement, if applicable
  5. Proof of residence showing your physical address not older than 3 months
  6. Income tax and VAT registration number, if applicable
  7. Latest rates account
  8. Latest levy or homeowner’s account
  9. Title Deed
  10. Details of the bond registered over the property
If you are an INDIVIDUAL - PURCHASER, you will need the following:
  1. Identity Document
  2. Marriage Certificate, if applicable

If you are a COMPANY – PURCHASER, you will need the following:
  1. Company documents – Registration Certificate, Memorandum of Incorporation and CM29

  5. Identity documents of each trustee
  6. Proof of residence for each trustee
  7. Proof of operating address
  8. Income tax and VAT registration number of the company, if applicable
  9. Latest rates account
  10. Latest levy or homeowner’s account
  11. Title Deed
  12. Details of the bond registered over the property
If you are a TRUST – PURCHASER, you will need the following:
